A good cleaning of the lid and its track should take care of it. Use some tissue and a ballpoint pen, make a micro wad with the tissue, and get into two key areas:
– The groove on the underside of the lid. Make sure to slide it to get at it from both sides. This is usually the culprit.
– The lid track on each side. Get both sides of the lid and the track in the body of the case. Again, use the slider to get at it from each side.
Lubrication in the form of a half-drop of any type of oil or a bit of wax rubbed in the groove under the lid can do wonders, too. But if these tricks don’t work, let our crew know and we’ll get you sorted out.
